Customs

Frank Robison is a lawyer and U.S. Customs broker. His firms provides his clients with customs planning and compliance solutions for hemp and other goods that are frequently misunderstood by customs such as “drug paraphernalia.”

International trade and commerce inherently involves customs maters. Mr. Robison regularly advises large multinational cannabis companies, non-US entities and U.S. people on how to compliantly navigate and clear shipments of hemp and smoking article related merchandise through U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

From the suite of commercial documents, including the commercial invoice, the packing list and waybill (airway bill or bill of lading) and customs documents such as Form 7501, Robison Law is experienced in obtaining clearance.

We also prepare compliance procedures for hemp related product and smokers articles. Robison Law has an extensive history in assisting client in importing and exporting hemp.
Robison Law often works with Hemp Without Borders Co. on matters that have a business, regulatory and commercial consulting focus, as opposed to legal counseling and advice. Hemp without Borders works with EU traditional food applications and places extraction equipment in Latin America, among many other international commercial, corporate and business activities involving hemp and hemp equipment.
